CTC Students to Compete in Taekwondo Tournament Sept. 11

On September 11, 2010 the kids from the Coronado Training Center will demonstrate their taekwondo skills in a friendly tournament in San Diego. Students of Taekwondo receive traditional training in the Korean art of self-defense. Chief Instructor Dan Boyle says he is excited for his students to showcase their skills. Many of his students have trained with him for years and are eager to demonstrate what they have learned. In addition to self defense, Taekwondo also stresses the importance of courtesy, integrity, self control, perseverance, and an indomitable spirit.
