Cross Training

Martial Arts are based on balance, coordination, leverage and angles. You don’t need to be big to perform with power. Proper technique and speed generate power and increase endurance. By staying relaxed you are able to increase your endurance and therefore performance.

By cross training in our program you will improve your performance in any other sport. Chief Instructor, Dan Boyle has competed at the collegiate level and even competed in the 1984 NCAA baseball tournament. Played high school football, track and has cross trained in many martial arts (Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Boxing and Kung Fu).

“We use the best drills of all disciplines to give our students a complete full body workout”. states Dan. Additionally, he has trained students to improve their skills prior to and during their collegiate years. Some went on to earn Division 1 scholarships others got ready for the NFL combine to play professional football. They realized the benefits of training in boxing and/or martial arts. San Diego Chargers Shawne Merrimen and Shaun Phillips crossed trained to help them become pro bowl athletes.
