Black Belt Club

About the Black Belt Club
The CTC Black Belt Club is an elite program designed to enhance and improve our student’s martial arts skills while developing leadership and character building tools.
Are You Black Belt Club Material?
Your membership in the CTC BBC opens a whole new world for your growth as a martial artist. Martial Arts are an exciting activity that has a powerful impact on the lives of its practitioners. However, the impact is in direct proportion to the level of personal commitment the student and their family makes to earn a Black Belt.
Quick Black Belt Club Q & A
Q: Who is eligible?
A: The selection process is not based on physical abilities. A student’s physical abilities will develop over time. It is the desire and attitude that determines their eligibility. Sa Bom Nim is an expert in determining which students have the necessary attributes to join the Black Belt Club. Once you earn your yellow belt, you will be evaluated for your membership in the Black Belt Club.
ATTITUDE: The Black Belt attitude is the never-quit attitude of a winner. Students with the Black Belt attitude maintain high levels of personal standards in and out of the martial art school. Although you may not have a Black Belt yet, anyone can have a Black Belt attitude.
ATTENDANCE: A requirement of membership is regular attendance. Regular attendance shows discipline towards your goal of Black Belt. This is critical as your goal to Black Belt is marked with small, incremental improvements leading to fantastic mental and physical breakthroughs over time. We realize we cannot change any one technique 100% overnight. Instead we seek to improve 100 areas – 1% per week. This method of incremental learning is accomplished only with consistent class attendance.
COMMITMENT TO EARNING YOUR BLACK BELT: These students have or are willing to dedicate their commitment to their school and themselves by their membership. They have agreed that training is a priority and not to let other activities affect their goal of Black Belt. They are committed to their school and themselves to be the best everyday.
The Black Belt Club is not for everyone. By Sa Bom Nim’s recommendation, he believes you have or will demonstrate the attitude, class attendance, and commitment necessary to earn your Black Belt. Sa Bom Nim is willing to commit to you the necessary martial arts skills, leadership, and guidance to help you get your Black Belt. The rest is up to you!
Q: How can I get involved?
A: The student’s parents can speak directly with Sa Bom Nim.
